Inspired Education Group is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our Vilamoura-based school. You will support teaching and learning, assisting class teachers to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and wellbeing.

You will work with individuals and small groups, reinforce learning, observe progress, and support pupils with additional learning needs while upholding safeguarding policies and fostering inclusive activities across

Qualificações

• Experience with children in a school or educational setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional conduct expectations in schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, children and parents.
• Warm, patient and proactive approach with high expectations for pupil behaviour.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to support across classroom and school activities.
• Experience in an international or diverse school environment (desirable).
• Additional language skills relevant to the school location (advantageous but not essential).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, school trips, and events.
• Assist with preparation of learning materials, classroom displays, and resources.
• Contribute to classroom routines, transitions, and day-to-day organisation.
• Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and child protection policies at all times.

• A warm, patient, and proactive approach, with high expectations for pupil behaviour and engagement.
• Flexibility and a collaborative mindset, with willingness to support across a range of classroom and school activities.
• Ability to support learning effectively in both group and one-to-one settings, including behaviour and classroom management.
• Experience in an international or diverse school environment (desirable).
• Additional language skills relevant to the school location (advantageous but not essential).
