Job summary

Dellent is seeking a Systems Administrator – Backup & Data Protection for a Lisbon project. You will administer Veeam backup, ensure retention and immutability, and safeguard critical business data in a multinational environment.

The role requires strong Windows/Linux administration, VMware vSphere and Hyper-V experience, and a proactive approach to disaster recovery and document procedures. Remote onboarding is offered, with ongoing training and team events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam backup, retention, immutability, and recovery policies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V, Linux beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Veeam backup and data protection environments, ensuring backup, retention, immutability and recovery policies are properly implemented.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows/Linux and virtualized environments, supporting backup and data recovery incidents.
• Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies, while maintaining technical documentation, procedures and reporting.

We are looking for a Systems Administrator – Backup & Data Protection for a project in Lisbon.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, including backup, retention, immutability and recovery policies.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V, with Linux experience being a plus.
