Job summary

Mind Source is recruiting a Backup & Data Protection Specialist to reinforce its Infrastructure Team in Lisbon. The role focuses on designing and maintaining robust backup, retention, and recovery policies across Windows Server and virtualized environments.

You will manage Veeam backups, administer core Microsoft services, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity strategies while ensuring incident resolution and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Veeam is mandatory.
• Proven experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft systems and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of backup, data protection, retention, and recovery concepts.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic enterprise IT environments.

• Manage and support virtualized infrastructures, including VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
• Design, manage, and optimize backup, retention, immutability, and recovery policies.
• Investigate and resolve backup, restore, and data recovery incidents.
• Contribute to the implementation and support of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
• Administer core Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and reporting.
