Axians Portugal is seeking a Systems Administration Manager (Microsoft 365) to own the administration and operation of our Microsoft 365 environment across a global footprint. You will define and operate Teams Phone services, manage licensing, and drive automation of tenant operations and device management.

The role requires strong experience with Microsoft 365, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and ServiceNow integration, plus excellent stakeholder management and English fluency.

Systems Administration Manager (Microsoft 365)

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional responsible for defining the strategy, governance, and operations of Microsoft 365 services and enterprise telephony solutions. This role combines technical expertise, automation, vendor management, collaboration architecture, and operational excellence to ensure secure, scalable, efficient services aligned with global business needs.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Own the administration and operation of the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Define and operate Microsoft Teams Phone services.
• Change & Deployment Management.
• Licensing & Compliance.
• Automate Microsoft 365 tenant operations, device management, and telephony services.
• Vendor & Offshore Team Management.
• Integrate services and operational processes with ServiceNow.

Your Key Skills

• Proven experience managing and operating Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, SBCs, Quality of Service (QoS), and emergency calling services.
• Advanced automation skills using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Experience managing external vendors, MSPs, telecommunications providers, and offshore teams.
• Solid understanding of incident management and service operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Platform-oriented mindset with a focus on automation, reusability, and self-service capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

Your Main Qualifications

• Professional experience in Microsoft 365 administration and operations.
• Experience supporting global and multi-region collaboration and communication environments.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and operational process integration.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot is considered a plus.
