Planck Technologies is seeking an experienced System Engineer specialized in Active Directory and Windows Server to join a global IT team supporting business-critical systems across multiple countries in a hybrid environment near Lisbon.

You will manage a global AD, implement hybrid identity solutions with Entra ID/Azure AD, automate tasks with PowerShell, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and identity governance.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of professional experience in Microsoft infrastructure administration with a focus on AD and Windows Server.
• Experience managing Active Directory in enterprise environments and hybrid identity setups.
• Strong scripting (PowerShell) and automation skills; comfortable with on-call support.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain a global Active Directory environment across regions.
• Manage users, groups, permissions and GPOs; support authentication services.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server platforms; automate recurring tasks with PowerShell.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer specializing in Active Directory and Windows Server to join a global IT team supporting business-critical systems across multiple countries.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a complex hybrid environment, contribute to modernization initiatives, and play a key role in strengthening identity management, automation, security, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in Microsoft infrastructure administration, with a strong focus on Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Strong experience managing Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Solid expertise in Windows Server administration.
• Experience with hybrid identity solutions (Active Directory + Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies: LDAP; Kerberos; SAML; OAuth.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting security and identity-related initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in operational and project-driven environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a global Active Directory environment.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Support authentication and authorization services across the organization.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server platforms.
• Manage and support hybrid identity environments integrating Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Automate recurring administrative tasks using PowerShell.
• Collaborate with internal teams on identity and infrastructure-related projects.
• Contribute to improving security, stability, and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and identity-related incidents.
• Participate in on-call support activities when required.

Working Model:

• Hybrid - 1 to 2 days/week at the client's location, in a region near Lisbon.
