Job summary

PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an acceleration center supporting PwC Luxembourg's clients. Based in Matosinhos, PSP integrates into PwC Luxembourg's operations to address talent challenges and deliver a range of services including ESG and sustainability advisory.

You will join a multicultural team, supporting non-financial reporting improvement and participating in sustainability assurance engagements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent; master in ESG would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., Taxonomy Regulation, GRI) and regulations.
• Strong interest in ESG and Sustainability topics.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to various profiles.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be part of advisory teams to enhance non-financial reporting processes, risks and controls.
• Participate in audit engagements for international clients on sustainability information.
• Implement audit methodology: analyze environment, form independent expectations, identify gaps, draft recommendations.
• Seek opportunities across diverse environments and perspectives.
• Communicate clearly and structurally with stakeholders.

PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an integral extension of PwC Luxembourg. Our growing team operates as an acceleration center supporting PwC Luxembourg's clients. Leveraging a unique pool of talented professionals based in Matosinhos, our operating model ensures scalability, consistency, and quality in service delivery by integrating seamlessly into PwC Luxembourg's operations and addressing talent attraction challenges sustainably. PSP provides a range of services, including Assurance Audit (spanning all industries, with a particular focus on Real Estate and Private Equity), Broader Assurance Services, Tax (including Managed Services, Corporate Tax, VAT, and Accounting), and Advisory (specializing in the Global Fund Industry and Real Estate Valuation).

Your mission:

• Be part of the teams who advise our clients, supporting them to bring their non-financial reporting to the appropriate level through an effective enhancement of their processes, risks and controls framework
• Take part in audit engagements for international clients in various business sectors aiming at providing assurance on non-financial information related to Sustainability
• Implement our audit methodology (understanding and analysing the client's environment, building an independent expectation, comparing client's assessment and independent expectation, identifying gaps, converting findings into practical solutions, drafting recommendations and specific reports)
• Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives
• Use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when connecting with others

• You have (or will soon have) a Master's degree or equivalent - a master in ESG would represent an advantage
• You have a good knowledge of or are really interested to know more of the sustainability frameworks, initiatives and regulations including the Taxonomy Regulation, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) amongst others
• You have a strong interest in ESG and Sustainability linked topics
• Good communication skills, ability to adapt dynamically to various challenging situations and various profiles
• You are fluent in English and any other language will be considered as an asset
• You have a good command of Microsoft Office
