ALTEN Portugal, a leading reference in Engineering and Technology sectors, seeks a rigorous Civil Construction Supervisor to join our Engineering division. You will oversee on-site work fronts, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with plans, standards, and deadlines.

Based in Maceira, Leiria (on-site), you will coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams, monitor contractors’ progress, and support safety and quality from day to day while reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Technical Course in Civil Construction.
• Verify the execution quality in defined areas and ensure contractors are using up-to-date technical documentation.
• Ensure resources and logistical conditions for the safe and efficient execution of activities (access, structures, power supply, equipment).
• Monitor interdependencies with other areas to prevent conflicts or interference.
• Guarantee a clean, safe, and efficient working environment within civil construction zones.
• Strong problem solving, customer focus, and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise civil construction work fronts and contracted services.
• Continuously inspect on-site activities for plans and specifications.
• Interface with electrical, mechanical, administration, and safety teams.
• Analyze deviations, plan corrective actions, and report to the Project Manager.
• Daily follow-up of contractors’ work plans (teams, resources, tools).
• Prepare progress reports and verify impact of other disciplines on civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of civil construction work fronts and contracted services within specific areas of the project.
• Continuous inspection of on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with plans and technical specifications.
• Technical interface with electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, administration, and safety teams.
• Analysis of deviations, planning of corrective measures, and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Daily follow‑up of contractors’ work plans (teams, resources, tools).
• Preparation of progress reports and verification of the impact of other disciplines on the evolution of civil works.
