Job summary

Danish Crown A/S is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Portugal to oversee demand and supply planning, inventory management, and transportation coordination. You will work across Commercial, Production and Logistics to balance service levels with costs and working capital considerations.

The role requires close collaboration with Finance and Procurement to optimize planning processes and support continuous improvement within a multi-site, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or Operations.
• Experience with demand planning, inventory management, and transportation coordination.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and planning systems.
• Experience in international and multi-site environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance service, cost, and inventory considerations.
• Structured and proactive approach to planning.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complexity in a dynamic environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and supply plans.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and obsolescence risks.
• Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Manage and support import/export activities, including customs documentation.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and operational constraints.
• Ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory availability, and logistics execution.
• Monitor key performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in S&OP processes and cross-functional planning reviews.
• Support regional procurement and supplier-related activities when required.
