Job summary

Yuno is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead architectural decisions and guide engineering teams across the organization. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building scalable, reliable payment platforms and shaping technical strategy for AI-native development.

You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and tackle the hardest problems, while contributing to roadmap and cross-functional initiatives. The role offers remote work from anywhere with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin on core backend stack.
• Solid grasp of architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services (RDS, ECS, EKS, S3).
• Excellent automated testing practices within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Proven technical leadership—mentoring engineers and driving vision, strategy, and delivery.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
