Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to be a senior technical leader across our engineering organization—architecting robust, scalable systems that process payments for global brands, and raising the technical bar for the teams around you. You’ll take on our hardest technical problems, shape architecture and technical strategy, and turn complex, real-world payment challenges into elegant, maintainable solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud-native services.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems.
• English advanced proficiency.
• Payments/fintech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust, scalable payment systems and lead deep technical problems.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams.
• Define architecture, design strategy, and cross-team delivery.
• Lead complex, cross-functional projects with on-time shipping.
• Apply AI-native practices to engineering across the org.
