Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) are helping a large international insurance/fintech company hire a Senior Solution Architect for Lisbon. You will own the end-to-end solution architecture for a key enterprise project, shaping the technical approach across Azure, .NET and Blazor while remaining hands-on through delivery.

You will translate complex requirements into scalable, secure cloud-native designs, evaluate trade-offs with stakeholders, and identify AI opportunities.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of relevant technology experience and enterprise solution delivery.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft architecture and Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with .NET and Blazor.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Fluent English; Portuguese language skills are a plus.

We are helping our client, a large international company operating across insurance and fintech, find a Senior Solution Architect to join its team in Lisbon.

The company combines the scale and stability of an established international organization with active development of complex, high-load technology solutions. AI is a genuine part of its technology roadmap, and this role offers the opportunity to influence how it is applied within a major production solution.

In this role, you will own the solution architecture for one of the company’s key projects — defining the technical approach across Microsoft Azure, .NET and Blazor and staying closely involved through implementation.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex requirements into practical architecture decisions, managing technical trade-offs and ensuring the solution performs as intended once live.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for a key enterprise project, from technical vision through implementation.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure and cloud-native architecture.
• Define the technical approach across Microsoft technologies, Azure Cloud, .NET and Blazor.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requirements, priorities and architectural trade-offs.
• Identify relevant AI opportunities within the solution and guide their architecture and implementation.
• Use your hands-on .NET and Blazor expertise to shape and validate architecture decisions throughout delivery.
• Promote effective GitHub and AI-assisted engineering practices, including GitHub Copilot.

What you bring

• 15+ years of relevant technology experience, including strong experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions as a Solution Architect.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft architecture and Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with .NET and Blazor.
• Proven experience designing scalable, secure and cloud-native enterprise solutions.
• Experience with GitHub, including GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Practical experience identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and fluent English.
• Experience within insurance or a related financial services environment is nice to have
• English language - conversational level, Portuguese language proficiency - nice to have
