Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior SQL Server specialist to manage and optimize enterprise environments, ensuring high availability and peak performance. You will design, implement and maintain Always On Availability Groups and Windows Failover Clusters.

Join a team focused on advanced performance troubleshooting using Wait Statistics, Query Store and Extended Events, with capacity planning to guarantee scalable, reliable SQL Server infrastructure.

Qualificações

• 10+ years professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server, especially on critical platforms.
• Expertise in SQL Server Enterprise features: Always On AGs and Windows Failover Clusters.
• Experience using Wait Statistics, Query Store, Extended Events for advanced performance troubleshooting.
• Alignment with corporate culture, integrity and ethics are valued; strong customer focus and teamwork.

What will you do?

• Manage and optimize SQL Server Enterprise environments, ensuring high availability and performance;
• Design, implement, and maintain Always On Availability Groups and Windows Failover Cluster solutions;
• Conduct advanced performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for critical SQL Server platforms;
• Analyze SQL Internals, Memory Management, TempDB configuration, and Wait Statistics to diagnose and resolve complex issues;
• Utilize Query Store and Extended Events for proactive monitoring and performance diagnostics;
• Perform comprehensive capacity planning to ensure scalability and reliability of SQL Server infrastructure.
