Körber Supply Chain Automation is seeking a Senior SW Lead Engineer to drive software development and commissioning for our sorting and conveyor projects. You will lead an international team and shape SW concepts using our library and tools.

The role requires a master's in automation or computer science, deep SW development and architecture experience (SIMATIC TIA, Failsafe, WIN-CC), and strong English; German is a plus. Expect around 30% travel and a dynamic, international work environment.

Your role in our team

• In this position, you will be responsible for SPS SW Engineering and the commissioning of our international projects for our sorters and conveyor technology as a technical lead engineer
• You act in the projects as SW & Commissioning Lead Engineer and lead an international team
• For customer-specific SW functions, you create the SW concepts and monitor the implementation in the customer project based on our SW library and tools
• You support the projects with your expertise in SW project planning and ensure compliance with the tools and processes of our international project teams
• You will actively participate in the further development of our SW library
• You will implement the implementation of the software engineering within the planned cost, quality and schedule framework and support the offer manager during the calculation

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a master’s degree in automation technology/computer science or a comparable field
• You have many years of experience in SW development and concepts for logistics warehouse and sorting systems, alternatively in industrial automation
• You have expert knowledge in SW development and SW architecture in the field of SIMATIC TIA, Failsafe and WIN-CC
• You are also practiced in common bus systems such as Ethernet & Profinet and have experience with failsafe application
• You have expert experience in commissioning and have already led a team On Site as team lead
• We require very good English skills as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team for this position German language skills are beneficial
• A willingness to international travel to our projects of about 30% is no problem for you
