Web Summit is seeking native Mandarin speakers to attract and engage with China's tech leaders for our global events. You will conduct deep-dive speaker research, craft high-level pitches, and pitch session concepts while coordinating complex scheduling for high-profile speakers.
The role covers outreach, editorial input on session ideas, and meticulous speaker data management, with travel to China and standard event travel. Hybrid office attendance in Lisbon, Porto or Dublin is required.
Web Summit brings the world’s most impactful speakers to our global events. That’s how we became, in the words of Forbes, “the best tech conference on the planet”. And we’re just getting started. As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for the most ambitious people to work with us.
The role of Web Summit’s Speakers Team is simple: we attract the speakers that make Web Summit so successful. Now, that will be your job. In recent years, Web Summit has been the first - sometimes only - tech event to call out the growing global impact of Chinese technology across every sector: AI, robotics, energy, transport, research, health, and infrastructure to name just a few.
We are looking for native Mandarin speakers to ensure the world gets to hear from and engage with China’s tech leaders, creators and thinkers at our events.
At Web Summit, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We want talent from all walks of life to help us on our journey to digitise the conference sector. Hiring decisions are made purely on experience, skills and the needs of the business.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
