Job summary

Greenvolt Group is seeking a Solar Sales Engineer to develop photovoltaic self-consumption solutions, from energy analysis to costing and commercial proposals.

You will collaborate with the Commercial Engineering team to blend technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, manage projects and procurement, and drive process improvements in a dynamic renewable energy environment. Hybrid work in Porto with international exposure and a focus on sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years' professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience in photovoltaic system design and PVsyst simulation.
• Knowledge of technical drawing using AutoCAD.
• Experience in preparing project budgets and Bills of Quantities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong sense of responsibility, organisation and attention to detail.
• Proactive and dynamic approach with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse energy consumption profiles and design photovoltaic energy production solutions for self-consumption projects.
• Design photovoltaic systems across rooftop, ground-mounted and carport configurations.
• Develop electrotechnical designs and project documentation.
• Prepare project budgets and BoQs for proposed solutions.
• Conduct procurement activities related to BoQ items.
• Prepare commercial proposals with tailored technical documentation.
• Manage assigned projects and workflows with effective planning.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Ensure reporting and information flow per management guidelines.
• Support implementation of Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
