Indra Group in Lisbon is strengthening its Space Engineering Earth Observation team by hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to software development.

The ideal candidate has experience with C and Java, a Linux environment background, and a solid grasp of software development practices; Python or MATLAB and unit testing are a plus. We offer work-life balance, career development, and continuous learning, with flexibility and autonomy to grow.

Competenze

• A recognized engineering or master's degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Experience with C and Java programming.
• Experience in Linux environment.
• Understanding of software development practices and coding standards.
• Experience with Python and MATLAB and/or unit testing is a plus.
• Experience with requirements understanding and design concepts is a plus.
• Experience with Git versioning is a plus.
• Good level of spoken and written English.

What are we looking for?

• A recognized engineering or master's degree (Aerospace, Telecommunications) or a related degree (e.g., Physics, Maths)
• Experience with C, Java
• Experience in LINUX environment
• Understanding of software development practices and coding standards
• Experience with Python/MATLAB and/or unit testing is a plus.
• Experience with requirements understanding and design concepts is a plus.
• Experience in Software versioning GIT is a plus
• Good level of spoken and written English
