A leading software consulting firm is seeking a Software Engineer in Test who will ensure high-quality software through manual and automated testing. This 100% Remote position is open to candidates from anywhere in Portugal. The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment, define testing strategies, and validate APIs and SQL data. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or similar, with strong experience in C# and web automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in QA or Software Engineer in Test roles.
• Strong experience with C#.
• Web automation experience (Selenium or Playwright).

Responsabilidades

• Review user stories and define risk-based test strategies.
• Design and execute Unit, Integration, E2E, Regression, Performance, and Security tests.
• Develop and maintain automated tests.

Software Engineer in Test (Automation on C#)

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to ensure high-quality, reliable software through a combination of manual and automated testing. You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside Developers and the Product Owner, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from requirements to release - 100% Remote from anywhere in Portugal

Responsibilities

• Review user stories and define risk-based test strategies
• Design and execute Unit, Integration, E2E, Regression, Performance and Security tests
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium or Playwright
• Work with SpecFlow (BDD) and NUnit/xUnit
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Validate REST APIs and SQL data
• Collaborate closely with the team during sprints and validate bug fixes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 2+ years of experience in QA or Software Engineer in Test roles
• Strong experience with C#
• Web automation experience (Selenium or Playwright)
