The role involves designing and developing automated test scripts, executing tests as part of CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability of automation frameworks. Candidates should be proficient in Python, API Testing, SQL, and familiar with SAFe. Experience with Kafka, Grafana, and IoT is a plus. The position is permanent and has an ASAP start date.

Qualificações

Job Description

• Test Automation Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to support continuous testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts in alignment with test objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Executing automated tests for progression, regression, and smoke testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring the reliability, reusability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain the Test Automation Frameworks in use, ensuring also proper documentation of all features and use cases.
• Investigating test failures, analysing root causes, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Providing clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders and ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Strong hands‑on in Python (BDD/Behave), API Testing, SQL, Postman/SoapUI (advanced), and Linux/Bash scripting.
• Good to have: experience on Kafka, Grafana, k6, Locust, telecom and IoT ecosystems
