Solvay is seeking a Software Engineer to drive development on the Microsoft Power Platform and related applications within the Digital Technology (DT) department. You will shape the development strategy, deliver solutions on the existing platform, and collaborate with providers while managing contracts and costs.

The role is based in Portugal with hybrid work options. The ideal candidate holds a relevant IT degree, has Power Platform development experience, and can liaise with clients.

• Experience in Microsoft Power Platform development is required.
• Willingness to work with clients and coordinate with providers.

About the role

Our Development team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department. As a Software Engineer, you will ensure ourBusiness on Microsoft power Platform and some other applications. You will be accountable for:

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps) development strategy
• Find solutions for our customers with our existing platform
• Coordinate/challenge our development provider
• Manage contracts and costs

About you

Relevant degree or equivalent in IT (development and support), or a comparable field. Relevant work experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.

Competencies

• Microsoft Power Platform experience and knowledge
• Jira, Confluence, Azure Cloud Provider / Outsourcing Management experience and knowledge
• M365ITIL skills
• Be able to work on-call shifts
• UiPath knowledge (Nice to have)
• Google Cloud (Nice to have)

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 39,440 - € 49,300 per year in Portugal. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
