Aubay Portugal is seeking a Data Platform Engineer / DevOps for Snowflake-based data platforms. You will build, automate, and operate the Snowflake platform, provision resources, develop IaC with Terraform, and implement CI/CD pipelines for data platform components.

You'll provide hands-on support for Matillion ETL/ELT, focus on performance tuning, and build robust monitoring and incident response. Hybrid work model and continuous development opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in data platform engineering or DevOps/SRE with Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL and performance tuning skills, with Snowflake warehouses and Streams & Tasks.
• Hands-on Terraform for Snowflake and cloud providers, and scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure, including IAM/secrets and storage integrations.

What will you do?

• Build, automate, and operate the Snowflake platform, ensuring high reliability and speed.
• Provision and administer Snowflake resources, including warehouses, databases, schemas, and user roles, following RBAC standards.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Snowflake resources and supporting cloud services.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning, testing, and deployment of data platform components.
• Provide hands‑on support for Matillion ETL/ELT, focusing on performance tuning and query optimization.
• Build and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms for platform reliability.

• Proven experience of 3-5 years in data platform engineering or DevOps/SRE, with at least 1-2 years specifically with Snowflake.
