Job summary

Aldebaran Group is seeking a Mechanical & Piping Superintendent to lead on-site installation activities for a large energy project in Portugal. Based in Lisbon, you will supervise mechanical and piping works with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with technical docs, and oversee progress reporting. A technical Mechanical Engineering degree and 10+ years of supervision experience are required, with

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical and piping supervision on large industrial projects.
• Strong background in piping for oxygen and hydrogen.
• Experience in subcontractor management and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site mechanical and piping installation activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and supervision teams.
• Monitor construction progress and participate in progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with technical docs, standards, and contract requirements.
• Contribute to QA/QC plans and ITPs in coordination with QA/QC manager.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in installation.
• Promote safety culture and ensure HSE compliance.
• Monitor progress, analyze deviations, provide reports on progress, quantities, costs.
• Review and validate final project documentation.
