Inetum Portugal is hiring a Settlements & Matching Back Officer for Lisbon, on a night shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will join a dynamic operations team focused on accurate transaction processing, reconciliation, and controls.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem solving, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Sales, and Client Services to maintain financial process integrity.

Qualificações

• Experience in Settlements, Reconciliations, Trade Operations, Back Office, or Financial Services Operations.
• Strong understanding of transaction processing and operational controls.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Manage settlement and reconciliation processes to ensure timely, accurate transactions.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and unmatched transactions.
• Perform both automated and manual reconciliation across multiple systems and data sources.
• Monitor data quality and ensure integrity of operational/financial information.
• Produce operational reports and provide insights for decision-making and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Sales, and Client Services.
• Support the resolution of operational incidents and ensure timely escalation when needed.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to audit activities through documentation and transparency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support automation initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Settlements & Reconciliation Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of transaction processing activities while supporting key operational functions across the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing settlement and reconciliation processes to ensure transactions are accurately processed and completed within established deadlines.
• Investigating and resolving exceptions, discrepancies, and unmatched transactions.
