Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer/Platform Engineer to join their platform team in Lisbon. You will configure and tailor the ServiceNow environment, manage daily admin tasks, and work with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, strong scripting skills, and knowledge of web technologies.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Administrator/Developer/Platform Engineer experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
• Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, automation, and ServiceNow platform features.
• Good knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Understanding of platform architecture, data model, and security concepts (ACLs, roles).
• Experience with integrations (IntegrationHub, MID Server, external systems).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

You'll be focused in:

• Developing and configuring technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform following best practices and governance standards;

• Monitoring platform health, usage, and overall compliance across applications;
• Managing update sets, deployments, and environment activities across instances;
• Troubleshooting platform, integration, and workflow issues and ensuring timely resolution;
• Maintaining technical documentation and operational manuals;
• Contributing to platform governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In order to succeed, you'll need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar experience;
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or Platform Engineer;
• Strong experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc)
• Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, automation, and ServiceNow platform features;
• Good knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and APIs (REST/SOAP)

• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Performance Analytics, or Service Portal/UI Builder
• Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, or ITOM;
• Exposure to AI capabilities within ServiceNow (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, GenAI);
• CSA - Certified System Administrator
• CAD - Certified Application Developer
• CIS - Certified Implementation Specialist
