A2IT Technology is seeking a Senior Virtualization & VDI Engineer for a banking-sector project based at Tagus Park. The role offers a hybrid work model (2–3 days on-site) in the Lisbon area.

You will manage and support VMware, Omnissa Horizon, AppVolumes, VDI environments, and FSLogix, while collaborating with vendors and the client to resolve complex issues and ensure stable virtualization and storage infrastructures.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in virtualization and VDI.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Omnissa Horizon.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with technical teams, clients, and vendors.
• Autonomy and responsibility in critical environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, administer, and support VMware, Omnissa Horizon, and Veeam Backup infrastructures.
• Administer and support VDI environments – Omnissa Horizon.
• Administer and support AppVolumes (Omnissa Horizon) and RDSH environments.
• Administer FSLogix within VDI environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to these technologies.
• Participate in technical sessions with vendors and the client to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Support the management and maintenance of virtualization and storage infrastructures.
• Certificate Authority (CA).
• Azure VMware Solution (AVS) – administration and support knowledge will be considered a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Virtualization & VDI Engineer to join a project for a leading client in the banking sector, based in Tagus Park.

Work model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days/week onsite

• Manage, administer, and support VMware, Omnissa Horizon, and Veeam Backup infrastructures;
• Administer and support VDI environments – Omnissa Horizon;
• Administer and support AppVolumes (Omnissa Horizon) and RDSH environments;
• Administer and support FSLogix within VDI environments;
