ITDS in Lisbon is hiring a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization & Security to guide and evolve the company’s Linux ecosystem, optimize Proxmox-based virtualization, and enhance security and reliability across the infrastructure.

You will implement and maintain automation with Ansible and Terraform, design resilient backups and disaster recovery plans, and work in a hybrid Lisbon-based environment with English and Portuguese language proficiency.

Qualificações

• At least 6 years of experience with Linux systems (Red Hat family, Debian, Ubuntu).
• Strong virtualization experience, especially Proxmox.
• In-depth networking knowledge and infrastructure security practices.
• Hands-on automation with Ansible and Terraform.
• Ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Hands-on experience with automation tools, including Ansible and Terraform
• Solid problem-solving skills and a focus on operational stability
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications related to Linux or virtualization technologies
• Experience working in agile or dynamic environments

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English and Portuguese, both spoken and written
