We are looking for a Network Engineer for a project in Lisbon.

VMware vSphere

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter Server, and related components.
• Knowledge in creating and managing virtual machines (VMs), templates, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and other vSphere features.

VMware Networking

• Strong understanding of virtual networking concepts within VMware environments, including vSwitches, virtual VLANs, Distributed Switches (vDS), and network policy configuration.

VMware Storage

• Experience in configuring and managing virtualized storage in VMware environments, such as Datastores, vSAN (Virtual Storage Area Network), and integration with external storage solutions.

VMware Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting

• Ability to monitor and optimize VMware environment performance, identify resource bottlenecks, adjust configurations, and resolve performance issues.

VMware Security

• Experience implementing security policies to protect VMware environments, including access control, auditing, and configuring virtual firewalls.

VMware Upgrades & Migrations

• Experience in planning and executing VMware version upgrades, as well as host and VM migrations across different vSphere versions.

Veeam Backup & Recovery

• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for VMs in VMware environments, including integration with third-party backup solutions and implementation of retention policies.

Certifications & Additional Experience

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, or similar are preferred, along with professional experience in virtualization and infrastructure management.
