Job summary

Alter Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Test Leader to join an international project in Banking/Insurance, based in Lisbon. You will define the test strategy, lead a team of Test Analysts, and ensure high-quality testing across the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate testing activities, monitor progress, report to stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies in a global delivery context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• Previous experience as a Test Lead or Test Coordinator.
• Experience defining test strategies and test plans.
• Knowledge of Octane, Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with APIs and SQL.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in Banking or Insurance sector is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Test Strategy and Master Test Plans.
• Coordinate and support Test Analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, execute and monitor testing activities.
• Manage test reporting, defect follow-up and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Communicate project status and testing progress to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
