Job summary

Aubay Portugal seeks an experienced IT infrastructure professional to join our team to operate, maintain, and deploy infrastructure solutions, with a focus on production environments and Kubernetes-based platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support lifecycle management, and ensure system reliability. The role follows a hybrid work model (2-3 days per week) within an international group offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure roles, particularly as a Systems Administrator.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments, including hands-on experience with Rancher, KubeVirt, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and datacenter infrastructure, with experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Proven troubleshooting and operational support skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Availability to work on weekends, estimated at approximately 42 weekends per year, is essential.
• Alignment with our corporate culture and a commitment to integrity and ethics are highly valued;
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and deploy infrastructure solutions supporting BMW manufacturing environments.
• Execute software and infrastructure deployments in production environments.
• Support platform lifecycle management, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based platforms and services.
• Monitor platform health, stability, and performance.
• Collaborate with plant stakeholders and technical teams to coordinate deployment activities.
