CTS Group in Porto seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to define the design strategy for modular data centre units and related civil works. You will own sign-off authority and mentor junior engineers throughout concept to commissioning across CTS's EMEA projects.

You will lead complex structural analysis of steel and concrete with seismic considerations under Eurocodes, coordinate with fabricators, authorities and clients, and drive BIM/MEP coordination to ensure compliant delivery.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; master's preferred.
• 5–15 years of structural engineering experience, including data centre or modular projects.
• Ordem dos Engenheiros Membro Efetivo (required for sign-off).

Responsabilidades

• Define structural design strategy and standards for modular data centre units and civil works.
• Provide technical authority and sign-off for structural packages.
• Lead complex structural analysis including seismic design per Eurocode 8.
• Manage design risk assessments and value-engineering reviews.
• Lead BIM/MEP coordination for structural scope and standards.
• Oversee fabrication, transport and erection quality and sign-off.
• Mentor junior engineers and review calculations.
• Liaise with authorities, certifying bodies, and clients on compliance.
