CTS Group seeks an Architect/Senior Architect to lead architectural design strategy for data centre campuses across CTS's EMEA portfolio, from concept through commissioning.

You will direct multidisciplinary coordination, manage client and authority relationships, and provide design sign-off with Portuguese law requirements. This role also involves mentoring junior staff and guiding cost estimates and resourcing across multiple projects.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent EU qualification.
• 5+ years (Intermediate) to 10+ years (Senior) of architectural experience, leading design on industrial, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
• Advanced command of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM workflows, Navisworks; knowledge of 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape).
• Deep understanding of data-centre design standards (Uptime Tier, ANSI/TIA-942, EN 50600/ISO/IEC 22237, ASHRAE TC 9.9).
• Portuguese regulatory frameworks (RGEU, RJUE, SCIE / DL 220/2008 / Portaria 1532/2008, SCE/DL 101-D/2020, PDM do Porto).
• Desirable: LEED AP, BREEAM, Uptime credentials and data-centre credentials.

Responsabilidades

• Define architectural design strategies and lead delivery of architectural packages from concept to construction issue.
• Ensure compliance with data-centre standards and resilience targets (N+1, 2N, concurrent maintainability).
• Own client relationships and liaise with planning and fire-safety authorities in Porto.
• Provide architectural sign-off and sign the projeto de arquitetura and termos de responsabilidade where required by law.
• Lead BIM/Navisworks coordination and enforce modelling standards across disciplines.
• Review contractor submittals, materials, RFIs, and oversee commissioning-stage reviews and snagging.
• Mentor junior and intermediate architects across active projects.
• Manage external consultants and contribute to value engineering, cost estimates, and resourcing.
