CTS Group SA is expanding its Porto team and seeks Electrical Engineers across Junior, Senior and Lead levels to design and deliver large-scale Data Centre projects. The role covers power, grounding, lighting and standby power within mission-critical infrastructure across Europe and the Middle East.

You will work on single-line diagrams, schematics, panel schedules and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring NEC, IEC, IEEE and NFPA 70E compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency with ETAP, EPLAN and Revit.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEC, IEEE and NFPA 70E.
• Understand Data Centre Tier classifications and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N).
• Experience in mission-critical environments such as telecoms, hospitals, HV/MV substations, BMS integration.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Perform/review short-circuit, load-flow, arc-flash and protection coordination studies using ETAP.
• Develop and validate general and emergency lighting designs using DIALux.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Structural and Architectural disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE and NFPA 70E and Uptime Institute Tier requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs and engineering documentation.
• Support resolution of RFIs and site queries during project execution.

This is an opportunity to work on the design and delivery of large-scale Data Centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects across Scandinavia, Europe and the Middle East.

The Role

We are looking for detail-oriented, proactive and technically strong Electrical Engineers to join our Porto engineering team.

You will be involved in designing, developing and managing reliable and efficient electrical systems for mission-critical Data Centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Data Centre electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, lighting and standby power systems.
• Develop and manage single-line diagrams, electrical schematics and panel schedules using EPLAN and Revit.
• Perform/review short-circuit, load-flow, arc-flash and protection coordination studies using ETAP.
• Develop and validate general and emergency lighting designs using DIALux.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Structural and Architectural disciplines.

Junior Electrical Engineer | 3–5 Years

• Work under Senior/Lead Engineers on defined design packages.
• Develop proficiency in EPLAN, Revit, ETAP and DIALux.
• Prepare design documentation, BOQs and support RFI responses.

Senior Electrical Engineer | 5–15 Years

• Independently perform power modelling and schematic design using ETAP, EPLAN, Revit and DIALux.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination.
• Manage client and vendor technical interactions.

Lead Electrical Engineer | 15+ Years

• Set technical direction and engineering standards across projects.
• Lead and mentor Senior and Junior Engineers.
• Ensure quality and consistency across engineering deliverables.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Lead complex technical issues and support innovation initiatives, including Digital Twin applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of:
• ETAP
• EPLAN
• Revit
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, IEEE and NFPA 70E.
• Understanding of Data Centre Tier classifications and redundancy concepts: N, N+1 and 2N.
• Experience in mission-critical environments such as:
• Telecom
• Hospitals

• BMS integration
• Knowledge of Digital Twin concepts or energy monitoring systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
