You will automate tasks with PowerShell/dbatools, manage backups, security, and DR, and collaborate with ITSM teams to handle incidents and changes.

The role emphasizes CI/CD integration with Redgate/SSDT, strong documentation in Confluence, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on SQL Server DBA with performance tuning.
• Experience in VMware and Azure SQL/VMs.
• HA/DR and backup/restore testing expertise.
• Practical knowledge of SRE: SLIs/SLOs and RCA.
• Good T-SQL, stored procedures optimization.
• Automation scripting: PowerShell/dbatools/Python.
• ITSM processes including CAB changes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) boards.
• Strong documentation: Confluence.
• GDPR/DPIA data protection experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administrate SQL Server on-premises, VMware and Azure.
• Install, patch, and maintain SQL Server instances.
• Automate repetitive tasks and optimize queries.
• Manage backups, security, and health checks.
• Act as escalation point and coordinate with vendors.
• Run daily production checks and monitor health.
• Handle incidents via ITSM and CAB governance.
• Contribute to CI/CD with Redgate/SSDT.
