Act Digital in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to support and optimize critical databases integrated with Microsoft Azure.

You will manage production SQL Server environments, implement Always On availability groups, perform root cause analysis of incidents, and deploy releases via Azure DevOps and UrbanCode Deploy. Strong T-SQL and PowerShell skills, with a track record in secure, regulated environments, are essential for this role.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Strong experience in production support, incident management, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server production databases.
• Administer Always On Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances.
• Investigate and resolve database incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Execute production releases using Azure DevOps and UrbanCode Deploy.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and T-SQL improvements.
• Manage Azure SQL and related Azure services.
• Ensure database security, permissions management, and documentation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of database processes and operations.
