Anova is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to own end-to-end software on the R&D team. You will shape the roadmap and build a real-time IoT data platform, handling telemetry from sensors globally and delivering actionable insights.

The role is remote-friendly with occasional Porto office collaboration. You will work across engineering, data science, and platform teams, driving reliability, CI/CD, and production telemetry with strong governance and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar field.
• 5+ years in software engineering with hands-on production deployment (6–8 years preferred).
• Strong Python and CI/CD practices are used daily.
• Strong analytical ability and statistics fluency.
• Solid SQL and experience with data at scale (pandas, PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake, Postgres).
• Experience operating software in production: deployment, monitoring, alerting.
• Fluency with agentic coding tools.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Own software solutions end to end from framing the problem to production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business goals into working software.
• Make technical decisions and contribute to implementation in a hands-on role.
• Build backend services and APIs for real-time telemetry platforms.
• Design and run data pipelines for forecasting and anomaly detection.
