Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an experienced Software Architect to shape scalable cloud-native solutions in Lisbon. You will bridge business needs with technical execution, guiding teams toward architectural excellence across the software lifecycle.

Lead design of distributed systems, REST APIs, and domain-driven architectures in a collaborative, international environment with a strong preference for English communication and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Technical Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of DDD, Clean Architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps/CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design cloud-native architectures using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure.
• Define architectural standards and best practices (DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Software Craftsmanship).
• Create and maintain architecture documentation (C4 or arc42).
• Support development teams through architecture reviews and mentoring.
• Participate throughout the software lifecycle from concept to production.

We're looking for an experienced professional who can bridge business requirements and technical execution, helping teams design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions while driving architectural excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Design and evolve cloud-native architectures using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure

Define architectural standards and best practices around:

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Hexagonal Architecture
• Software Craftsmanship

Create and maintain architecture documentation using frameworks such as C4 or arc42

Support development teams through architecture reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Participate throughout the complete software lifecycle, from concept to production

What We're Looking For
