Job summary

Altium Limited, part of the Renesas group, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability and performance of large-scale software systems. The role blends software engineering with systems administration and requires strong automation and incident-management skills across multiple regions.

You will work with engineering teams to build reliable, scalable SaaS platforms, enhance observability, and drive automation initiatives using IaC and modern deployment practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE/DevOps or related role in large-scale environments.
• Experience with software development, preferably .NET.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, microservices and high-availability architectures.
• Familiarity with observability tools and incident-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand how the Altium Cloud Platform works and its components.
• Improve observability; enhance logging, monitoring, and APM.
• Develop reliability frameworks across regions and environments.
• Promote a shared responsibility model with engineering teams.
• Contribute to incident response, post-incident reviews and continuous improvement.
• Support system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments using IaC.
• Advocate for service ownership and SOO principles.
