Datadog is hiring a senior, polyglot engineer to contribute across security libraries, focusing on .NET or Java. You will design integrations, ship features, and own them in production across thousands of applications. Expect collaboration with product teams, RFCs, and a strong product‑engineering mindset.

You’ll partner with backend and frontend teams to turn new detections and onboarding capabilities into widely adopted security tools, while mentoring peers and advancing code quality.

Competenze

• BS/MS/PhD in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Experience shipping libraries or SDKs for developers.
• Proficient in .NET (C#) or Java; able to contribute across other libraries.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and testing discipline.
• Operationally mature with production accountability.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and own security integrations and detections across multiple libraries with .NET and/or Java as primary focus.
• Take projects from prototype to deployed, correct, operable, and maintainable for thousands of applications.
• Own systems operationally: monitor production telemetry and debug cross‑system issues.
• Shape roadmaps, define OKRs, and drive RFCs for alignment across security library teams.
• Partner with product management and backend/frontend teams to turn ideas into adopted capabilities.
• Mentor teammates and raise the bar on code quality and testing.
• Represent Datadog in relevant language and security communities.
