Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (m/f/d) to join the Railigent X test team in a hybrid setup. You will drive test automation and ensure integration tests across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Responsibilities include writing maintainable test scripts in Python, working with Playwright, Selenium and Cypress, and guiding engineers on QA practices within SAFe. You will translate complex system requirements into effective testing strategies and collaborate

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field and several years in test automation or software testing.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with test automation tools.
• Solid knowledge of testing complex software systems, cloud apps, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and improve test automation solutions and frameworks.
• Develop test concepts and specifications for Railigent X software solutions.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases; analyze deviations.
• Define and improve team-level testing approaches; align with QA strategies.
