Job summary

Reach IT is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join an international engineering environment. You will contribute to a scalable test automation ecosystem for Web, Mobile, and API testing, supporting end-to-end workflows and regression automation.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and work with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps to ensure reliable software delivery and high quality across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer | Web, Mobile & API Testing

To join an international Software Engineering environment, contributing to the development and evolution of complex enterprise applications, distributed systems, and API-driven integrations.

The role focuses on building and improving a scalable Test Automation ecosystem, covering Web and Mobile Applications, REST APIs, end-to-end workflows, integration testing, and regression automation, with a strong emphasis on automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and software quality.

Skills

• Software Testing, including strong hands-on experience in Test Automation;
• Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, or equivalent frameworks for Web, Mobile, and E2E Test Automation;
• REST API Testing, including JSON validation, authentication, contract testing, and backend integrations;
• Test Automation Framework Design, including reusable components, fixtures, test data management, and coding best practices;
• CI/CD Integration using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps;
• Web Applications, Android Native Applications, or distributed systems;
• Performance & Load Testing, using tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling (nice to have);
• Familiarity with AI-Assisted Testing, including LLMs, GitHub Copilot, or automated test generation (nice to have);
• Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps;
• Good command of English for international technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites covering UI, REST APIs, end-to-end workflows, integration, and regression testing;
• Develop and improve Test Automation Frameworks, creating reusable components, utilities, fixtures, and maintainable test code;
• Perform API and backend integration testing, validating requests, responses, authentication, error handling, and data consistency;
• Contribute to Web and Mobile Test Automation, ensuring application reliability, functional coverage, and consistent user experiences;
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated execution, quality gates, test reporting, and continuous delivery;
• Improve Test Automation Architecture and Engineering Standards, focusing on framework maintainability, execution stability, and reduction of flaky tests;
• Apply AI-assisted testing techniques, where relevant, to support test case generation, automation development, and defect investigation;
• Investigate software defects and regression failures, performing technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and validation of fixes;
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to promote shift-left testing and continuous quality improvement;
• Contribute to testing best practices, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of automation processes and frameworks.
