EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Risk Management & Independence in Porto, Portugal. You will support the firm's quality, integrity and compliance efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage independence and risk matters while enabling sustainable growth.

You’ll lead testing, analysis and documentation to improve controls, and work with service lines across the firm to resolve issues. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, Internal Controls, Independence, Audit or related areas.
• Fluent Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance on client acceptance, continuance and independence procedures.
• Review information across risk management and compliance systems for risks and inconsistencies.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute testing procedures to assess control effectiveness.
• Document findings and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Support internal monitoring, reporting and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve independence and compliance matters.
• Contribute to process improvement within Risk Management & Independence.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and internal policies.
