EY Portugal is seeking a Senior Consultant in Risk & Internal Audit to help clients strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across diverse industries in Portugal. You will lead engagements, assess control environments and design risk-based solutions aligned with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Qualificações

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Technology Risk, Digital Risk or related areas.
• Experience with Internal Audit and Internal Control frameworks such as IIA Standards, COSO, ICFR and SOX.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management methodologies, including ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
• Experience assessing operational, financial and/or technology-related risks.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering projects in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control and Internal Audit.
• Assessing governance frameworks, risk management processes and control environments.
• Supporting the execution of internal audit engagements and control effectiveness assessments.
• Advising clients on the design and implementation of risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Contributing to risk transformation initiatives, including technology-enabled risk and control solutions.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and providing practical recommendations to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to proposal preparation and market initiatives.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across EY service lines to deliver innovative and integrated solutions.
