EY Portugal is seeking a Senior Consultant in Risk Management & Independence to help clients navigate regulatory and independence requirements while upholding integrity.

You will work with internal stakeholders across service lines, review compliance controls, and design testing procedures to improve processes. Fluent Portuguese and English are required for effective communication within the team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or master's in business, finance, economics, law or related field.
• 2–3 years in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs or related area.
• Strong governance, risk and compliance understanding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance on client acceptance, continuance and independence procedures.
• Review information across risk management and compliance systems for risks and inconsistencies.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute testing procedures to assess controls and compliance.
• Document findings, perform root cause analyses and recommend improvements.
• Support internal monitoring, reporting and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across service lines to resolve independence matters.
• Contribute to process enhancements within Risk Management & Independence.
• Keep up to date with regulatory developments and internal policies.
