Job summary

Instituto de Telecomunicações in Aveiro, Portugal, invites applications for a researcher in the NAVISENSE project. The contract is term-based with an undetermined end date and an estimated duration of about 34 months, starting March 2027.

The role focuses on designing autonomous capabilities and an interoperable platform to support real-time communication and data integration. You will work with project partners, contribute to demonstrations, publish results, and represent IT in project

Qualifications

• PhD in Informatics, Electro-technical and Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing systems to support CCAM (cooperative, connected and autonomous mobility).
• More than 10 scientific articles indexed in Scopus (Article or Review).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate autonomous capabilities and an interoperable digital platform for real-time communication and data integration.
• Contribute to research, integration and demonstration activities with project partners and ensure planned deliverables.
• Represent IT and manage project activities for overall execution assurance.
• Disseminate results through publications and present project outcomes to the public.
