Schumacher & Co. is seeking a hands-on Senior Quantitative Analyst, Product Portfolio (Statistical Modeling) to own analytics and reporting for SKU productivity across a portfolio of 20,000+ SKUs. This 12-month contract sits within the Data Insights & AI team and reports to the Sr.

Qualificações

• 2-5 years in data science, analytics, statistics in SKU-driven businesses.
• Solid grounding in statistics or operations research (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis).
• Strong SQL and Python, with Snowflake experience including writing back to correct or clean production data.
• A track record of presenting findings and challenging assumptions directly with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Independent executor — sets analysis priorities against business goals and ships accurate, high-impact work.
• Curiosity — digs into root causes and asks why numbers look the way they do.
• Thinks in terms of SKU-level economics: sell-through, margin, inventory position, lifecycle stage.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation.
• Strong English communication skills and a high ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Work hands-on with CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to understand key strategic questions, and then build analysis and reporting to address them directly.
• Use statistical methods (e.g. conjoint analysis, multivariate regression) to identify product attributes driving productivity and translate into data-driven guidance for portfolio decisions.
• Cut through data noise at scale by controlling for confounders like stock-outs, new/discontinued SKUs, and seasonality.
• Identify data inconsistencies at the source and correct records in Snowflake, coordinating with upstream platform owners.
• Present findings clearly to executive audiences, tailoring the message for technical or non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain recurring analytics and reporting to provide accurate, timely snapshots of SKU productivity.
• Use AI to automate repetitive reporting and scale analytics.
