Job summary

TravelEssence is seeking an experienced QA Tester to join our IT team in Lisbon. You will work with the Product Owner and developers to ensure high-quality software for our travel platform built on OutSystems, with a focus on robust testing processes.

You will shape testing standards from the ground up, define test plans for each sprint, perform manual testing across devices, and verify UI/UX aligns with business goals. Fluency in English and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of software testing experience.
• One or more testing certifications required.
• Experience with test automation is a plus.
• Experience testing mobile apps across devices is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) required.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine sprint requirements.
• Define test plans/scripts for each story at sprint start.
• Execute manual tests and work with developers to optimize output.
• Ensure UI/UX meets business value and acceptance criteria.
• Perform regression testing as part of releases.
• Support analysis and reproduction of production issues for developers.
