Quality Assurance Tester

A software testing company in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for testing software and identifying any defects or issues before it is released to the public.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of software, including functional, regression, and performance testing


• Identify and report any bugs or issues found during testing


• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues


• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and other documentation related to testing processes


• Participate in project meetings and provide input on software quality from a testing perspective

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role


• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques


• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to think critically when identifying potential issues


• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting


• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both written and verbal)

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications
