Joom is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to validate web services, backend systems, and APIs for the JoomAI product. You will work within an AI-enabled operating system for merchants, performing manual testing and contributing to test automation when needed.

You will collaborate with developers across Portugal, Brazil, Latvia, and China to analyze complex logic, identify gaps, and drive quality across web applications and services.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience testing web applications.
• Understanding of web technologies and client-server interactions.
• Experience with at least one database.
• Ability to inspect, analyze, and modify network traffic using tools such as Postman, Charles Proxy, Fiddler.

Responsabilidades

Now we are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to work with web services, backend systems, and APIs in JoomAI. This is a new product within our ecosystem – an AI assistant for the e-commerce operator (an AI-powered operating system for merchants)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web services; automation experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Participate in product improvement and collaborate closely with the development team
• Analyze complex business logic, break it down into clear components, and find issues that others might miss
• Continuously look for ways to improve the product and testing processes
• Ask questions when something is unclear and investigate issues thoroughly until the root cause is found

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience testing web applications
• Understanding of web technologies and client-server interactions
• Experience working with at least one database
• Ability to inspect, analyze, and modify network traffic using tools such as Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman, or similar

Preferred

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and experience optimizing testing processes
• Basic programming skills in any language for writing scripts or creating simple automation
