Joom is seeking Senior/Middle+ Backend Developers to join its global cross-border marketplace teams. The role focuses on API handling for mobile apps and web client, with a tech stack including Go, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Responsibilities include designing architecture, implementing robust Go-based services, ensuring fault tolerance in AWS, and handling growing data loads.

Qualificações

• Confident knowledge of any programming language from the list Go/Java/Kotlin/C++/Python/Scala.
• Complex project development experience.
• Excellent algorithmic training.
• Experience in development for Linux/Unix.

Responsabilidades

We are currently looking for Senior/Middle+ Backend Developers to join our teams:

• Client team: this team is responsible for handling all API requests coming from our mobile applications and the Joom web client. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Redis, Casandra, Kafka, Spark (Scala, SQL), Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus
• JoomPro is the first and only end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. It serves small, medium, and large businesses, handling orders of any size from start to finish. Today, JoomPro operates in Brazil and Mexico, with plans to expand into other markets. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Amazon AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch

Responsibilities

• Come up with architecture
• Program in Go (Go is not a must for us; it is more important for a successful candidate to have solid algorithm skills, fundamental technical knowledge, and great coding skills in general)
• Provide fault tolerance for coded services in an AWS environment
• Be prepared for a constant increase of processed and stored data loads and volumes
• Participate in new feature and product development discussions

Requirements

• Confident knowledge of any of the programming languages: Go/Java/Kotlin/C++/Python/Scala
• Complex project development experience
• Excellent algorithmic training
• Experience in development for Linux / Unix

Preferred

• Experience with highload
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes
