Joom Group is seeking a Security Engineer to maintain and enhance security monitoring across its infrastructure in Lisbon and remote-friendly settings. You will collaborate with infrastructure teams and apply security controls to AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

We value hands-on security experience, knowledge of cloud security, and a practical approach to threat triage while offering relocation support and flexible hours within an office-first hybrid model.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in in-house security.
• Strong understanding of security processes and key security domains.
• Knowledge of NIX systems, core network protocols, and essential cybersecurity tools.
• Experience in cloud security (AWS preferred).
• Basic knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy and maintain information security tools and solutions.

• Ensure the security of infrastructure components (AWS Cloud, networks, EC2, Kubernetes).

We are currently looking for a Security Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and developing our security monitoring capabilities. We are not fond of bureaucracy and legacy code and are always open for fresh ideas.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain information security tools and solutions

• Ensure the security of infrastructure components (AWS Cloud, networks, EC2, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Implement and maintain security controls and hardening across the CI/CD pipeline
• Perform infrastructure vulnerability triage and remediation coordination

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in in-house security
• Strong understanding of security processes and key security domains
• Knowledge of *NIX systems, core network protocols, and essential cybersecurity/IT tools
• Experience in cloud security (AWS preferred)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity regulations

Preferred

• Background in system administration, SOC, DevOps, or networking (strong overall engineering expertise)
