Job summary

KCS IT is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our Porto hybrid team. The role focuses on quality assurance, test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

You will leverage Java, Cypress, and Playwright to implement automated tests, participate in CI/CD, and contribute to test strategy across projects. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, particularly for test automation purposes.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright for automated testing.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and software quality principles.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English.
